National SRO Appreciation Day
National SRO Appreciation Day was February 15, 2025. The SRO assignment is unique within the law enforcement profession. These sworn law enforcement officers fill a three-part role, serving as informal mentors or counselors, law educators, and law enforcement officers to support the students and communities they serve. They are valuable and essential members of the education community who deserve unwavering respect and support from the public in the pursuit of keeping schools and students safe. Deputy Benes is an invaluable asset to our school and we appreciate the work he does to bridge the gap between law enforcement and our youth to keep our school safe!

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, all community members are invited to attend a Capital Bond Campaign Informational Meeting to learn more about the bond proposals. The meeting will begin at 7pm in the middle school gym (old high school gym). Congratulations to Mrs. Shelly DeVantier, Elementary Reading Specialist, who was nominated for Staff Member of the Month of March and was presented with a $100 gift card by Meghann Borgelt from Leski Wittman Insurance Agency at last night’s Board of Education meeting. Shelly was nominated by Mrs. Jen Floyd, Mrs. Mariann Hillard, Mrs. Linda Groch, and Mrs. Katie Brunt, who all echoed the same sentiments that Shelly, besides doing her own job, will support in any way as needed. She is truly an amazing staff member, colleague, and friend.
