Hey, Bobcats! At Monday night’s Board of Education Meeting, Mr. Tony Spisak from Setseg presented Whiteford with the 2024 SET SEG Michigan Safety Awareness and Facilities Excellence (MSAFE) Award! The award is given to districts that strive to preserve the safety and security of district buildings and grounds to keep claims low and protect what matters most: students and employees. Mr. Charlie Butz accepted the award and a check in the amount of $1,000.00 on Whiteford’s behalf.
Hey, Bobcats! Congratulations to Mrs. Linda Groch who was the lucky grand prize winner for Staff Member of the Year. All the names of the Staff Member of the Month winners were placed in a container, and one name randomly drawn to receive the year grand prize. Mr. Chris MacMillan from Leski Wittman Insurance Agency presented the generous $500 gift card to Mrs. Groch. 
Hey, Bobcats! Congratulations to Mr. Jake Gust who was May’s Staff Member of the Month recipient. Mr. Gust was nominated by Mrs. Ashley Vittore who shared that Jake’s unwavering dedication, experience, and passion for agricultural education make him an invaluable asset to our community. Jake was presented with a $100 gift card compliments of the Leski Wittman Insurance Agency.
