Hey, Bobcats! Mrs. Nancy Gibson, Elementary Title I Aide, was recognized as December Staff Member of the Month at last night’s board meeting. Nancy was nominated by Mrs. Angela Madalinski and Ms. Magdalene Waldecker, who shared that Nancy is truly an inspiration to others and embodies what it means to support both staff and students with heart. Meghann Borgelt from Leski Wittman Insurance Agency attended the meeting and presented Mrs. Gibson with a $100 gift card in recognition of her dedication and impact. Congratulations, Nancy, and thank you for all you do for our Bobcat community!
Hey, Bobcats! The key to a brighter future for Michigan’s children is a strong public education system. Every day, students rely on public schools to prepare them for success—often without realizing how many dedicated adults across our state are working behind the scenes to ensure they have the resources they need, safe learning environments, and highly qualified teachers to guide them. Making this possible takes an unwavering commitment to our community. And while the work may not always be visible, the true superheroes behind our students’ success are ordinary citizens with extraordinary dedication to public education—our school board members. These individuals approach their volunteer service as if it were a full-time job, and for many, their commitment to serving on the board rivals—or even surpasses—the demands of their chosen profession.
